The Role 

Apploi is hiring a Senior Full Stack Developer to join our fast-paced, innovative, and remote-first company. You will be responsible for building and delivering improvements to the company's core scheduling product, integrating with third-party technology partners, and innovating upon SMS and mobile team communication features, while using the latest engineering practices and technologies.

In this role, you will work in an Agile environment with other skilled engineers, Product Managers, Product Designers, and Quality Assurance team members. Together, you will design, implement, and deliver upon the shared vision.

Who You Are

• You have built complex data models in an environment that produced high-quality data output. 
• At least 7 to 10 years of full stack development experience with an emphasis on AWS Serverless technologies (AppSync, DynamoDB, DynamoDB Streams, Lambda, Cognito, S3, CloudFront, Route 53, Amplify) and/or React (Redux, Hooks, Router, Cypress, JavaScript, and Node.js, Jest, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of GraphQL.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, and deep React application design experience (component layout, state, etc.). 
• Passionate about engineering operational excellence. 
• Experienced with writing quality, reusable, readable code.
• Worked in an environment that produced high-quality data output.
• Experienced with React application design (component layout, state, etc.).
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong work ethic, integrity, and desire to succeed.
• Adaptable to new initiatives.

What You’ll Do

• Write clear and maintainable full stack code while working in a professional software engineering environment (source control, continuous integration, short release cycles, automated testing, etc.).
• Be able to work closely with design team to create a picture-perfect responsive user interface.
• Make pragmatic and data-driven decisions that will meet both business and technology needs.
• Communicate with the Quality Assurance team regularly. Work to deliver code in small chunks that can be tested early in development.
• Work with the Product and QA teams to flush out feature designs. Break work up into well-defined manageable units of work.
• Document key business workflows and software designs.
• Develop and maintain client-side applications.
• Collaborate with developers on integration of elements.
• Design customer-facing UI and back-end services for various business processes.
