Job Title: Transportation CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant)

Location: Emerald Nursing and Rehab Columbus; 2855 40th Ave, Columbus, NE 68601, USA

Reports to: Administrator

Position Type: Full Time

Responsibilities 

• Transport patients to and from facility. Maintain complete and accurate log
• Operate vehicle in accordance with applicable traffic laws, Company Vehicle Policy, state and federal regulations
• Follow PHH guidelines for vehicle maintenance and reporting vehicle malfunctions, traffic accidents, etc.
• Maintains cleanliness of vehicle – both interior and exterior
• Maintains proper forms in vehicles
• Understand, comply with and promote all rules regarding residents' rights; promote positive relationships with residents, visitors, and regulators, to include presenting a professional appearance and attitude
• Immediately report any hazardous conditions, equipments, accidents and/or incidents
• Attend and participate in training, educational activities and staff meetings; assist in orientation and training other staff

Qualifications:

• Must have current Driver’s License with no driving violations on record
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Must have ability to understand and apply training, and in-service education
• Must be capable of maintaining regular attendance

Skills: 

• Must have ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions at a level necessary to accomplish the job
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality regarding patient and company proprietary information
• Must be able to relate positively and favorably to residents, families and other employees at all levels
