SHIFT: WEEKDAYS AND EVERY OTHER ALTERNATE WEEKEND

UNITY HEALTH AND REHAB, A SKILLED NURSING FACILITY LOCATED IN MIAMI, FL,  IS SEEKING TWO FULL TIME RESPIRATORY THERAPISTS TO JOIN OUR TEAM

Responsibilities of the Respiratory Therapist:

• Assess, treat, and care for patients with breathing disorders
• Assume primary responsibility for all respiratory care modalities, including the supervision of therapy technician
• Initiate and conduct therapeutic procedures, maintain patient records, and select, assemble, check, and operate equipment

Requirements of the Respiratory Therapist: 

• Must possess a current, unencumbered license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in this state
• At least 1 year of Ventilator experience, required. 
• At least 1 year of experience as a Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist in long term care, required. 
• Must know NetHealth and Point Click Care
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language
• Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action in a timely fashion
• Must be knowledgeable of respiratory therapy procedures
• Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel
• Must possess the ability to plan, organize, develop, implement, and interpret the programs, goals, objectives, policies, and procedures, etc., of the respiratory therapy service
