The Concierge Caregiver in an Independent Living community is responsible for various tasks, all contributing toward a more stress-free lifestyle for residents in the community. A resident can contact the Concierge Caregiver at their Independent Living Community for tasks and services such as:

• Provide attention to clients’ non-medical needs, including companionship and social engagement
• Assist client with light housekeeping, and medication reminders
• Establish communication and a professional relationship with clients, family members, and Independent Living Community Staff
• Provide reliable care by being punctual and consistently covering shifts
• Pet walking and pet care services: Select retirement communities adopt a pet-friendly policy, which allows residents to move in with their furry friends. If a resident is going on a day trip but wants to make sure their pet stays happy, they can enlist the help of the concierge team to arrange for pet walking and care services
• Errands: Residents can call upon their community’s concierge team to help them with their errands.
• Mailing services: Whether a resident needs to receive or send a letter or package, the concierge team can help them with the logistics and ensure that the items are sent and received safely.
