We are looking for Full-Time On Call Caregivers to support the Metro Richmond area.

 We are seeking reliable and skilled caregivers who can support clients when the scheduled caregiver is not available. This position will need to have the skills to support clients who require different level of care throughout the metro Richmond area and be available 40 hours a week. Monday - Friday. TMUST be available from 8a-6p. MUST be able to work with smokers, pets, Lifting, Transfers. MUST be able to travel and get to the shift within an hour

As a Full-Time On Call Caregiver with SYNERGY Home Care, you will:

• Be available Monday – Friday from 8a-6p to fill open shifts in the metro Richmond area
• Provide clients with ADL's as directed, but not limited to bathing, grooming, oral care, dressing, toileting, feeding, and mobility
• Assist with Hoyer lifts and mobility devices  
• Assist client medication reminders.
• Abide by HIPAA standards at all times.
• Adhere to policies and procedures set by office administration.
• Introduce new Caregivers to Clients.

Benefits include:

• Competitive Pay, $19.00 per hour for working caregiving hours and $12.41 per hour when on standby. This position will be guaranteed hours for all working and available hours up to 40 hours per week. Overtime will be paid for working hours exceeding 40 hours per week.

Qualifications & Requirements

• CNA or PCA designation
• Skills to provide care for clients with all levels of non-medical home care needs
• Ability to respond to phone calls or text messages within 15 minutes
• Ability to fill a shift within an hour
• Work with clients who may have pets in the home
• Work with clients that may have a smoker in the home
• Ability to drive clients to appointments
• Ability to support clients in the Metro Richmond area
• Ability to support both male and female clients
• Ability to transfer clients
• Current CPR certification
• Current PPD in the last 12 months
• Pass criminal record and background check
• Reliable transportation/Valid driver's license/current auto insurance
• Authorized to work in the US
