Job Summary:
The Leave and Safety Administrator manages leave requests, oversees work comp supports, ensures compliance with leave-related laws, and promotes a safe work environment. This role involves administering various leave programs (e.g., FMLA, short/long-term disability), communicating with employees about leave policies, facilitating work comp and injury reporting, and overseeing the return-to-work process. Additionally, they contribute to safety programs, ensuring workplace safety through compliance with OSHA regulations and other safety standards.

Essential Functions of Leave and Safety Administrator:
· Processing and managing leave requests, including FMLA, short-term disability, and other leaves.
· Processing accommodation requests and engaging interactive discussion.
· Ensuring compliance with relevant laws (e.g., FMLA, ADA).
· Communicating with employees about leave policies and procedures.
· Overseeing the return-to-work process and facilitating light-duty arrangements.
· Tracking and managing leave records.
· Ensuring adherence to OSHA standards and other safety regulations; filing OSHA reporting on behalf of facilities.
· Conducting workplace safety inspections and audits.
· Developing and implementing safety training programs.
· Investigating workplace accidents and incidents.
· Keeping employees informed about safety issues and procedures.
· Providing guidance to employees on HR policies and procedures.
· Working with managers to address workplace safety issues.
· Maintaining accurate HR records and reports.
