A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A BILINGUAL OPERATIONS MANAGER
As a Bilingual Account Manager, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and directing the work of your team to ensure the terms and conditions of the contract and client are being met in accordance with CCJ standards. As a natural leader, you train, instruct, and assign work to the custodial crew. You also have the ability to hire, discipline, terminate, and recommend employees for promotion. With enthusiasm, you manage the day and night custodial operations of assigned accounts while also supporting the employees in a positive manner. You work to ensure that all services are being provided with quality and in a cost-effective manner.
Using your ability to establish a rapport quickly, you maintain good client relations with current customers. You are quick to resolve all customer issues in a timely manner and always follow up to ensure satisfaction. You are a "go-getter" who demonstrates and promotes our company culture, values, and management philosophy. Trust is the cornerstone of your business. As such, you maintain the confidentiality of company, customer, and employee information.
Though you love interacting with people, you are also organized and goal-oriented. You carefully monitor budgets for all of your accounts utilizing the time-keeping system. With attention to detail, you verify that all employee time and attendance reports are correct and double-check any discrepancies found. Additionally, you perform and follow up on customer inspection reports as required. You are always careful to ensure compliance with all labor laws, OSHA regulations, and company policies and procedures. This full-time custodial management position is a salaried, exempt position and requires you to work a minimum of 40 hours per week with flexibility to set your schedule as long as work is done well and in a timely manner. Some nights and weekends will be required as customer or employee issues arise.
