Position Summary & Experience Required:
Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Proven experience helpful as scheduler/staffing coordinator or similar position
Knowledge of staffing policies, procedures, and best practices
Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Reliable with respect to confidentiality
Experience using Microsoft Office software
Schedule/Coordinate care staff according to clinical staff competence by assigning qualified staff appropriately.
Be on time, ready to work at assigned work location on a daily basis
Manage time effectively
Participates in staff competency evaluation
Respond well to coaching and supervision
Be assertive with communication of issues
Performs other functions that may be assigned from time to time
Work additional hours as determined by business needs
Assist other departments as needed
First shift and rotating On-call hours
Train and onboard new staff
Ability to operate effectively in a team environment working with vendors and internal operations to resolve staffing challenges
Effective meeting participation skills and collaboration skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Highly detail-oriented personality with the desire to organize and structure tasks and processes
