Licensed Pratical Nurse - LPN
LPN assumes resident services, oversees day-to-day activities and personnel within your service area. This position requires tact, sensitivity and professionalism due to constant interaction with residents and families to guarantee their satisfaction.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patient's as assigned
- Assist the Resident Services Coordinator in supervising house cleaning and laundry
- Assist in managing and monitoring the delivery of all resident services including: personal care, medications, health care
- Assist the Resident Service Coordinator in implementing the Service Management System, focusing on resident services delivery
- Administers and records medications and treatments as assigned.
- Assist in hiring, training, supervising, and developing resident service staff. Order and maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and supplemental services for residents
- Assist in providing routine care, observe patients' health, assist doctors and registered nurses, amd communicate instructions to patients regarding medication, home-based care, and preventative lifestuyle changes
- Obtain a documented report from any provate aid/home health working with a resident
- Report and document any changes in patient/resident's condition to the Doctor and Administrator
- Prepares for and assist Physicains and others with diagsnostic and treatments
- Assist in the admission, transfer, and discharge of patients
- Observe and reports patients' vital signs, symptoms and general condition to the appropriate individual (s)
- Records on patient charts obeservation of patient's responses to nursing care rendered
- Maintain environmental conditions conductive to the comfort and satety of patients
Experience:
- RN/LPN: 1 year (Preferred)
