Responsibilities for Admissions Coordinator:
- Obtains applicant information by requesting completed applications and medical information, verifying and clarifying information, interviewing patients and family members, and explaining admissions criteria
- Manages the onboarding of patients
- Checks patients into the system as they arrive
Qualifications & Experience Requirements for Admissions Coordinator:
- Must have at least 2 years experience in long term care
- Must have prior experience as an Admissions Coordinator in long term care
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven leadership and management skills
